Andreas Struppler
Born in Munich, Germany in 1964, Andreas Struppler started his career working in various craft workshops before taking up studies in architecture and design, and graduating from the University of Kassel.
Struppler gained experience by working in the renowned design studios of Milan, Munich and Berlin, going on to open his own studio in 1992: Struppler Industriedesign in Munich. Since then, distinct and unique products have become his trademark. Intelligent functionality and innovative materials are the passions which drive Andreas Struppler and his team.
His creative product design for major companies within the furniture industry has won him several international awards, including the iF Gold Award and NeoCon Gold. His products have been exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art.
Sebastian Frank, his co-designer who was jointly responsible for the development of the new Haworth Kiron desk system, joined Struppler Industriedesign in 2000.
