ITO Design
ITO Design was originally founded by Armin Sander in 1987 in Nuremberg, Germany. In 2001 they expanded, opening a branch in Cham, Switzerland. From these offices, the company cares for its international customers.
Products created by ITO Design extend over various fields including office furniture, industrial and consumer goods, but with a common goal. The improvement of life is at the core of all ITO designs.
According to Armin Sander, "A good designer does not only look at the product... without market orientation. He thinks in the categories of the customer's wishes, analyses the whole value-added chain, becomes part of the company and the product. For good design is not only attractive and functional, good design sells. "
Amongst several other seating ranges, ITO worked with Haworth Design Studios to produce the popular Zody_System 89 chair.
