Guaber operates in the fast moving consumer goods market with leading brands in fabric care, home care, insecticide and plant care market. Guaber’s products are distributed in the mass market, through specialised channels and in pharmacies.

Challenge
Guaber wanted to convey their work ethos throughout the entire workplace, both through the organisation of the layout and the furnishings. The design therefore had to match the corporate vision, with a focus on attractive, sustainable furniture that was flexible to change.
Haworth worked with the design firm “Ricerca & Progetto” to tailor the workplace based on the needs expressed by the client’s Human Resources department. Guaber’s HR played an active role in the project as Haworth analysed the working styles of the employees to promote interaction, creativity and concentration through space planning, acoustic solutions and comfortable furniture.
The client imposed high standards for both product quality and employee comfort, and the chosen products reflect this. A mix of glass Esedra walls along the corridors and wood panelled partitioning create both private spaces and an “ample-air” atmosphere, while Very and Zody_System 89 meeting chairs in the conference rooms provide excellent ergonomic support in a stylish design.
Guaber’s sustainability policy meant that Kiron was an obvious choice for workstations, as it is PEFC certified and 99% recyclable. These desks were enhanced with customised Universal Screens.
