The designers Karl Odermat and Franz Hero founded the company in Hinwil, Switzerland in 1964. They are located in a renovated former spinning mill in the Zurich uplands. The internationally recognized furniture designers are used to success and have set new standards. Many of their products have become modern classics.

Under the brand name art collection, they created for Haworth the successful table and shelf system m_pro and m_pro II for the upper-level management sector.
